Our Heavenly Home

God’s Open Door
“Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”
(I Cor. 15:19)
“And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.”
(2 John 5:11-12)
“Blessed be the God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incoruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you.”
(1 Peter 1:3-4)
“For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, and house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.”
(2 Cor. 5:1)
Attaining Eternal Life
The question was ask of our Lord when He walked among men…”Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?”
“Biblical Christianity” has been designed to bring forth a detailed understanding of how to attain that eternal life. As you have read and studied these pages, I trust that you have sensed the earnest intent and desire of the author’s heart in sharing…
The Way…The Truth…and…The Life.
“Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory forever Amen”
In My Father’s house are many mansions…
if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself; that where I am there ye may be also.” (John14:2-3)
This is that “Blessed hope” that every true believer has fought the fight of faith for throughout their probationary journey on earth. As the Apostle Paul penned, “If in this life ONLY we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.”
(1 Cor. 15:19)
John was given a beautiful symbolic vision in the book of Revelation of what awaits every child of God in this place called “Heaven.” May I share this message with all who await His glorious appearing…
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed way; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is a thirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things: and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.”
(Rev. 21:1-7)
The Old Songs still speak:
Song: When we all get to Heaven
Sing the wondrous love of Jesus, Sing his mercy and His grace;
In the mansions bright and blessed, He’ll prepare for us a place.
While we walk the pilgrim pathway, Clouds will overspread the sky;
But when traveling days are over, Not a shadow, not a sigh.
Let us then be true and faithful, Trusting, serving every day;
Just one glimpse of Him in glory, Will the toils of life repay.
Onward to the prize before us! Soon His beauty we’ll behold;
Soon the pearly gates will open, we shall tread the streets of gold.
When we all get to Heaven, What a day of rejoicing that will be! When we all see Jesus, We’ll sing and shout the victory.
